Baptisms at St. James’

Baptism is a sacrament of the Church – a means by which we receive God’s grace within us. In baptism one becomes a Christian, a member of God’s family, the Body of Christ, and a citizen of God’s Kingdom in which we participate in carrying out God’s vision for the world. Living out the promises made at baptism is at the heart of our lives as followers of Jesus.

For all of these reasons, baptism is a significant celebration for the individual and for the whole church. We look forward to sharing this important event with you and trust that it will be an occasion of great joy.
